Dante’s Inferno
Role : Concept Artist
Concepts
As one of the first visual development artists on EA’s Dante’s Inferno, I was responsible for defining the environmental visual style for this ambitious adaptation of Dante’s classic journey through Hell.
Working from the project’s earliest stages, I tackled the challenge of bringing each circle of Hell to life in a way that would work for gameplay while staying true to the epic scope of the original story. My concept work established the visual foundation for Dante’s descent, creating environments that ranged from the eerie landscapes of Limbo to the frozen wasteland at Hell’s depths.
The project demanded a careful balance between honoring Dante’s poetic vision and creating spaces that would engage modern players. My environmental designs helped set the creative direction that guided the entire art team, establishing the dark, mythological atmosphere that became central to the game’s identity.
