Call of Duty : WWII

Art Direction

On Call of Duty: WWII, I drove the visual development concept team for both single-player and multiplayer in the game’s pre-production and production, supporting the studio art directors and bringing their visions to life.

Partially into the project I was promoted to art direct the zombies mode based on my leadership during development. In this role, I directed the artistic vision and managed the incredible team of artists at Sledgehammer Games’ zombie team who brought this mode to life.

The images below showcases work from my time as the zombies’ art director. I composed and shot these screenshots myself, but all the amazing artwork were created by the talented team I worked with at Sledgehammer Games.

Marketing

Our team created some incredible designs that perfectly captured the gritty horror atmosphere we wanted for zombies mode. The designs turned out so well that we turned them into posters and used them as promotional materials at Comic-Con, GameStop, and other events. The designs really nailed that dark, intense vibe that makes zombies mode so compelling, and having them work as standalone promotional pieces showed how strong the visual direction had become.
