About the Artist

I started out my career in finance before moving into art. I initially wanted to be a stock broker after graduating from high school, but after 4 years in business school I realized that that wasn't a life I wanted to live. So I studied illustration/animation at San Jose State University for another 4.5 years before graduating with a BFA in art. I'm currently the lead concept artist at Activision | Blizzard's newest studio, Sledgehammer Games, working on an unannounced title. I grew up on a steady diet of video games and comic books. I feel very fortunate to be able to work in an industry I feel passionate about doing what I love. I love all things art albeit it graphic design, topography, illustration, animation, fine arts, etc.
